Hey guys- joined today and am totally here to give a heads up about a project I'm involved in.
There is a new professional theatre company in Greenwich, CT, and on April 26th there will be a reading of Arthur Kopit's OH DAD, POOR DAD, MAMA'S HUNG YOU IN THE CLOSET AND I'M FEELIN' SO SAD to help it get kickstarted. The reading will star Juliet Mills (from "Passions" and a Tony nominee for Peter Shaffer's first play) and her husband, Maxwell Caulfield (GREASE 2; "Dynasty").
Tickets are $80, and the space is small, seating only 100. The venue is right next to the Greenwich train station, which is 45 minutes outside of Manhattan. Email Ohdadreadingtickets@gmail.com if you'd like to attend! Link to playbill article
What an odd choice. Both actors are wrong for their parts. And the book of this play is more creaky than a Laura Ingalls Wilder prairie wagon.
If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
Jen Cody has joined up in the role of Rosalie and tickets are moving quite briskly. We are also grateful that a lovely caterer is providing wonderful wine and hors d'oeurves post performance!
The house is a little more than half sold now. Juliet Mills, Jen Cody and Maxwell Caulfield, and free hors d'oeuvres! Come one, come all! April 26th! OH DAD Benefit tickets
