Saw it 3D IMAX this morning and loved it. Garfield and Stone were perfect. It was thrilling and fun. Everything I want from a summer-action-popcorn-superhero flick.

Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!
The 3D was pretty amazing. I'm not afraid of heights, but the sequence with Spidey and the cranes up 6th Ave made me dizzy! I couldn't get over how good Garfield was. And despite all the threads on Datalounge about how gay he is, I thought Garfield had great chemistry with Stone.

I'll see ANYTHING with Emma Stone in it. She plays Spiderman, right?

I saw this on Friday and I enjoyed it. Yes, there are some things that I easily remebered from the 2002 film that were in ths film, but it was very enjoyable. Garfield, Stone, and Leary were the highlights for me.
Stone was great, the film could have lost a good twenty minutes. Enjoyable enough.
And TED out grossed Spiderman in Australia on the opening weekend!
Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist.
Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino.
This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more.

I left this movie saying "eh". It was really just okay IMO. I was disappointed, and thought the story went on too long and was kind of dumb. Loved Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone though. I guess I just don't see the point in making another movie so soon unless it is going to be better than the originals, and this one did not even come close. I also saw Ted and Magic Mike and I enjoyed both of those much more than Spider-Man. I DID think Spider-Man was better than The Avengers though which I HATED.

They made this one because if they didn't make another movie soon they were going to loose their contract/rights to make spiderman films. Well, Spiderman 3 sucked, so they decided to reboot instead of attempting a Spiderman 4.
Saw it today and found it really entertaining. Mrs R decided to join me even though she did it just to go with me as I wanted to see it. She really loved it and was glad she came with me.
The 3 D was very good especially during the climax. They set the stage for the next one.Best use of 3D since Avatar
I liked it a lot, but was still meh on the 3D. I'm beginning to think I have some sort of sight defect because it never does anything for me, and I preferred to watch a lot of this movie with the glasses off - I only put them on when it got blurry (about a third). It's all a con, I tell you.
Anyway, I thought one of Spidey's main powers was the ability to shoot web...how come in this he had to develeop that skill independently of the spider-bite?
