Audition Songs for an Alto#1

I have an audition coming up for "Once Upon A Mattress". I am auditioning for any role, but I'd really like to play Princess Winnefred. I'm an alto, but I can belt, and I'd like to show that off. I need some suggestions for an alto song that shows my range. Also, I'd prefer it to be a Rogers and Hammerstein number.

I think Cain't Say No from Oklahoma would be good. It fits in with Winifred's quirky attitude, it's a belt, and it's Rodgers and Hammerstein!

Even thought it may be a faux pas..."Shy" and "Happily Ever After" would be good songs for your voice at other auditions. It wouldn't hurt to give it a try at this audition.

"Morning Person" from Shrek
I also like the suggestion of "I Cain't Say No" from Oklahoma!
