Regarding the whole bruhaha with Into The Woods eyeing a Broadway transfer ...

Can anyone name ONE musical in the last 10 years that WASN'T looking to move to Broadway?

Can anyone name ONE musical in the last 10 years to open at a NYC non profit that DIDN'T have commercial producers and enhancement money in place before the first preview?

How is this a 9/11 thing? I really don't see the connection.

The only thing that I can see that relates to a 9/11 thing was the revival of Assasins. It was being planned prior to 9/11 and ws cancelled after the attack.

There's bruhaha? I didn't know. (I just thought there was talk.)

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
