Due to being an idiot (see my other post) I have a ticket for 'The Recruiting Officer' this Saturday 7.30pm

Selling with much regret as I managed to book one for the matinee one for the evening and already have other tickets for the evening. £25 face value can meet at the theatre etc

Just don't want to waste a ticket to a sold out show!

Very dumb thing to do, I agree............however before I moralise, I know someone who wanted to see 'The Pirate Queen' on Broadway, but instead of booking the flight for March for when the show starts, the individual put February in instead on the online calander and I understand from the person when they rung Virgin Atlantic and explained the faux pas made, minutes afterwards the airline point blankly and unsympathetically refused to change the flights. The person had to go to New York a month earlier! Because of privacy I better keep this person anonymous,(cough, cough), but I always say if people didn't make mistakes they wouldn't put rubbers on the end of pencils.

I would ring the Donmar and explain what happened and see if they could swap for one of the day tickets.

I got a day ticket for inadmissible evidence for the matinee on Wednesday, which I am sure would of been very popular because of Douglas Hodge and turned up at the Donmar at 10am and was the last person to bag a ticket. So get there about 8:45am and if there is no one or a couple of people waiting, go for a nice breakfast and coffee and go back at 09:45.

If you are going to do the day ticket option and you want to sit together, buy 2 day tickets, then there will be someone who is on their own and would be delighted to buy your ticket.

If you don't think I am a condescending bastard, I be delighted to buy your ticket off you?

Don't think you're being condesending! I realise I'm an idiot (in my defence I was beyond tired when I booked the tickets!)

I appreciate the advice too-I rang ATG to ask but couldn't find a number of the Donmar direct. Don't supposed you (or anyone else) can direct me to that?

I'm determind for us both to see this now so I shall be camped out there regardless.

And yes please do buy the evening ticket off me-PM me and we can liase meeting etc
