I'm new here, I was wondering if you guys can help me. I'm arriving to new York on march 2nd till march 10th. all the way from Israel...now I've already seen a bunch of shows but I was wondering about the Book of Mormon lottery...how is it these days? when should I arrive if I want to get a ticket, is STR worth it? same for wicked, already seen it but I was wondering if there's less people because of the weather. now, I haven't seen Memphis and rock of ages and anything goes. which one should I go to...or should I just see all three? and!!! last thing! your thoughts about spider man...any chance of getting tickets in a normal price? is it worth seeing!? thank you for your help.
I can't whole-heartedly reccommend anything on your list but will suggest:
Once
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

Actually you can get a general rush ticket for both Spiderman and Anything Goes. Your fate is in your hands, instead of a lottery. You just have to devote a couple of hours in the morning to insure your place in line. I don't know if this is your first visit and may not want to waste those precious hours. I actually enjoyed Spiderman. My brother who detests Broadway, saw Rock of Ages last year and loved it. I haven't seen it or this revival of Anything Goes, so can't give an opinion. If you have seen Wicked already...why not choose something new? I am taking the advice of Dramamamma611 and some others and seeing Once in June. Have a great time. I went to Israel last year and had a fantastic time.
For what it is worth I recommend Spiderman and not Anything Goes.
Spiderman has had all the negative hype...whatever. I am not one to follow the lemmings or critics advice. It isn't the most amazing show in the world but I would not say it is the worst. Go with an open mind and see for yourself. I cannot imagine this being a touring production and if it were to go to a stadium the distance in such a space leads to a loss itself.
Anything Goes...I've see it performed in High School productions and it has been revived many times. It will be revived again. It has plenty of potential to pop up someplace, anyplace. I personally did not love this current revival.
ArtMan - I between these two - I would lead you to Spiderman for the experience alone.
