So, is this just a one time special or are they doing a few more episodes? It would be a shame just for them to do the one but I loved it SO MUCH! It's like they never left. They just picked up where they left off.

Two more episodes have been filmed. The first is broadcast on New Year's Day and the second is being held back for the Olympics(?!), which brings to mind an exchange from one of the episodes from the previous century:
Eddie: Should I do something for the Millennium Commission?
Just when I was thinking of having a fish pedicure, episode 2 was much, much better. Sharp bibes at the trendy establishment and super-rich brainless ("I've struck a pretty good deal; it's a 70:40 split"), Jane Horrocks putting her Little Voice skills to good use, lots of walk-on cameos from real-lifers proving they can't act (stick to the day job Mark)and a great turn from Lindsay Duncan as Jeanne Durand. And the final riposte:
"New York gays are so forgiving. They are. They are!"
