In a world of "The Battery's Down", "Submissions Only", etc, I realize that the 'Tube is full of fun, theatre-related series. But, I just created one from the perpective of a high-schooler stuck in the realm of community theatre.
Those in the mood for 8 minutes of fun, please check it out.

I was taught to keep my mouth shut unless I had something nice to say.
If this series featured that girl for the whole episode, every episode. I'd watch.

1. Why do yo have this screen name and the muppetman screen name?
2. You have a decent voice, but if you are going to continue to sing women's songs you should get them transposed to your range.
3. Are the characters in Suessical unisex? It seemed like Saxon was treating Gwen as his competition, which was kind of weird.

1) Long, confusing story involving getting a new computer that didn't "remember" my stupidly intricate password.
2) You're right. Thanks for that. And that's just Saxon. He believes he is such a diva that these female standards were written for him. Don't worry, he won't be singing "Rose's Turn" anytime soon, but you know he probably has it in his book.
3) Along the same lines as #2, that's just the character of Saxon Black. Of course he is not in competition for the role of Gertrude McFuzz. Yet, there is always a sense of competition to be the greatest, to rule that community theatre. And anyone, especially a beautiful girl with a fierce voice, is merely standing in his way at that point.
Saxon is "that kid" in every community theatre production you've ever been in. That's what makes him so much fun to create and play. I've sat next to him in so many auditions. It's fun satire at the expense of every Saxon Black in every small town.

Episode Two has been spawned!
Three months of waiting, and Saxon finally hears back from his dream college, the University of Michigan. But, when things don't turn out as planned, a rejection letter becomes so much more.

I just watched all the episodes! Why haven't you posted episode 4 on here yet?? It's so good!!! :) This series is brilliant. I think you just needed practice. They get better and better. :) Keep up the good work!

And HFinn joined today and just happened to stumble across this post that's nearly a month old? Seems suspicious to me. I went back nearly TEN pages (500 posts) and only got to June 14 or so.
HFinn is either a friend of the OP or the OP himself. (and yes, ridiculous to have spent my time doing that -- but It's 3:30 and I'm an insomniac.)
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

For those who might enjoy it, Episode Four has been released, and features Saxon is an awkwardly conceptualized production of "The Sound of Music". For those you might not enjoy, don't! Fine by me. :)

It's time for a new episode, and I know how excited you all must be.
This one features Saxon getting a gig as the spokesperson in a latenight infomercial. Check out Max von Essen playing Saxon's agent, as well as appearances from "Submissions Only"s Kate Wetherhead and Andrew Keenan-Bolger, as well as some Julie Andrews fun provided by the geniuses behind "Judy's Cream of Wheat", Punchy Players. And it's all in HD!
