Ok so laughing my ass off has nothing to do with crapping and rolling around in it. Its just a saying. I guess I've lived now not to say anything that can be twisted into something totally different on this website anymore because someone will certainly give it a new meaning.
Well, if it's just a saying, you couldn't have been "literally" doing it. That is the complete opposite of what the word "literally" means. People will give you less of a hard time if you sound like you know what you're talking about just a bit.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
I put literally, so what? I cannot believe that all of you are making such a big deal about this. You know what, to make you all happy I will delete the word literally. Would that make things better?
Why are you guys obsessing over this? It was a mistake. Have you ever made a mistake before? I put literally where it shouldn't have been. I'm sorry. But it doesn't call for you to act like children and make fun of me for it. Seriously, where do you guys get off with this? It was one word.
I absolutely love Deborah Wilson! I miss her acting, voice, and her on point impersonations! My favorite is her Oscar performance of "Little Nicky", and the MTV program with Bobby Brown. Bunifa was one of my favorite characters on the show too, especially the burger spot skit and the one with Regis. I really wanted her to play Whitney in a film (or musical), but she said she will never do a impression of her again...
For a bio to really work, we have to learn something we didn't already know or at least have a different POV. We know the Whitney Houston public story.
But what about her relationships with women? Robin and others...? After disasterously telling Robin she has to move out of the house because Whitney has to appear straight, we could get I Will Always Love You solo in a pin spot, and we would know all that follows is downhill and ending in tragedy. We don't have to see it.
Of course the Houston estate wouldn't like this story line very much.
The Whitney Houston Story, as has been pointed out, is just The Judy Garland Story all over again. Ho hum.
"If my life weren't funny, it would just be true. And that would be unacceptable."
--Carrie Fisher
It would be a tragedy on par with her death to generate an imagination-free tribute musical, with some gal imitating Houston's vocals on Houston's songs.
However - an original show, taking liberties with "facts," with an original score?
Imagine the 11:00 number:
I've been a bitch, I've been a diva, But when I go, I'll leave a World that plays me like a psychopath; I told them in the lobby Not to let up Bobby, And now I think it's time... for my bath!
