Unfortunately San Francisco is not Broadway, so there is rarely more than 1 good thing playing at a time. If you plan on going down to the Silicon Valley, 2 Pianos 4 Hands at Theatreworks was pretty fun.

Go see A LIE OF THE MIND. You won't regret it.

TREE is a hot mess. Skip it.

Broadwaybelter have you seen Lie? What's the running time?
Tree is really that bad? The review are great?

It was messy, but I loved it anyways.

I might go see A Lie of the Mind.

Messy how? Poor script? Acting? Set? Directing?
What do you mean by messy?

The play itself was cliche, confusing and awkward. The acting is inconsistent and they are still finding their footing. This is just my opinion, though - you may like it more than I did.

Wow. I got a whole different vibe from it. You might have also seen the show on an off night.

I found it not 100% put together, and it tried to do too much, but underneath it all was so much heart and soul. Honestly I think it's the best "new" play I've seen in years.

If you decide to see it, let me know what you think of it. Updated On: 2/5/15 at 02:39 AM

All these posts, and no mention of Beach Blanket Babylon? It's not exactly challenging theatre, but it's America's longest revue, and it's worth checking out.

Behind the fake tinsel of Broadway is real tinsel.
