They've also made the choice not to include programs like the Tonys in their online content.
John Adams, I know CBS made last year's broadcast streaming online for the month following the ceremony. I hope they do the same this year.
Words don't deserve that kind of malarkey. They're innocent, neutral, precise, standing for this, describing that, meaning the other, so if you look after them you can build bridges across incomprehension and chaos. But when they get their corners knocked off, they're no good anymore…I don't think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.
I can't believe Billy got nominated, but then again. The Tonys are a joke! Matilda nominated for best musical?! Dame, I feel you!
"People have their opinions and that doesn't mean that their opinions are wrong or right. I just take it with a grain of salt because opinions are like as*holes, everyone has one".
-Felicia Finley-
Can we all take a page of first grade and remember that it's Tonys, not Tony's. Apostrophes don't indicate plurals. This is right up there with people who use them in 1920's, when it should be 20s.
Anyway, the nods this year are a joke. All I had to see was Bring it On nominated to know they were giving them away this year. Granted, not much was produced, but I say they shouldn't have to have a certain amount of nominees, if all the work isn't good. There's no excuse for Annie to ever be nominated for anything.
Te voy a mater un bofetada bien metida si sigues con este escandalo. Tranquilisate ya! Yo se lo que necistas para bajarte ese moco que tienes atrepado.
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
