Agree about that crown!

Just booked more tickets! Can't wait to see this. Have loved the music forever.

That was wonderful! Osnes is wonderful. Super excited about this one - I see a big hit.

I loved the performance. I really want to see it. However, I did not like the dress Victoria Clark was wearing. Or the crowns.

That was so good! I honestly think it was the best performance today. The other ones at the parade left me underwhelmed, but "Cinderella" just made me smile and joyous! Love that Rodgers & Hammerstein score! Laura Osnes was perfect, and so was everyone else. I didn't like the crown or fairy godmother's costume either, but everything else was awesome! :)

It's funny, I didn't like the dress at first, but as the performance went on I kinda started to like it. My first thought was "WHAT is she wearing?!" but then I thought it was kinda cool (if a little too much like the costumes from the Brandy version).

I thought AL the costumes were horrid.
The very handsome Santino looked very un-Prince-like, I am assuming he was underdressed to stay warm, he looked kinda, well, puffy, and he's not at all.
And the choreography was not great either.
They have an amazing cast, I hope they step it up.
I was also alarmed to read that in this version, Cindy saves the Prince? WTF?

That was a really good performance! I'm excited to see this now as opposed to going and hoping for the best. It warmed my heart a little. Then again, I'm a sucker for Fairy Tales.

"Or the crowns."

The crown on Laura's head actually looked like one that the White Witch wears in the 'Narnia' books and films. But overall I really enjoyed the performance and I hope to see it this spring.

I posted this in the other thread, but I think that Clark's dress looks pretty cool.

I recognized Sam Cahn (Memphis) in the ensemble this morning.

I liked Clark's dress. I thought it was an interesting and inventive approach to dressing the Godmother.

And the ball gown was lovely! Even if I was expecting a bit more sparkle and sequins...

I loved the Godmother's dress. Inventive and unique. The ballgown was also quite pretty. I even liked the crowns. I think it adds to the look and gives it distinctive point of view.

HOWEVER, the ensemble costumes look like something out of regional theater stock and the choreography was pretty bad. Let's hope that these are not the final products and it was something that was thrown together for the parade.
