IIRC, there are some language but I think the material would be good for a 12 year old to know.

Some language, yeah, and there's a couple allusions to sexual activities (mostly with what the Fitbit can tell you're doing), but I think a 12-year-old would probably be fine.

Thanks sorano and Taryn. He's a mature twelve year old so sounds great!

I saw this yesterday and really enjoyed it. The narrative definitely takes a back seat to the concepts the play is trying to advance, but that's all right, in my opinion. It held my interest, even though I do follow privacy in the news and was familiar with most of the ways people leave digital fingerprints everywhere. It's pretty neat how the production demonstrates this to the audience using interactive elements.

I think owners of iPhones will find the play particularly interesting. In at least one case, we were directed to check out phone's settings to discover a sneaky way the iPhone is keeping track of our whereabouts. It's hidden in a submenu under a name you wouldn't expect.  I felt mildly superior because I had disabled that function at some point. I must have read an article way back. But most people in the audience were pretty shocked to see that, and there quite a few oohs and ahhs as people saw the results. All in all, a very good time at the theater!

Mac, could you post or PM me the phone settings they discussed. I meant to tell friends with I Phones and forgot the specific instructions.

I saw the show Saturday night.  Overall I enjoyed myself, but to call it a play instead of a lecture would be a stretch.  Lots of good information and fun exercises, but most you could find on the Internet or lectures.  Would I enjoyed it as much without Daniel? Probably not

My recommendation would be if you are looking for a nights entertainment and want to see Daniel, go see it. If you are looking for a Tony Award performance, find another show.

Does the running time (2 1/2 hours) include intermission? I'm interested in seeing a 2 pm show, but would like to leave the theater around 4:30 pm.

I went last weekend and the show started just after 2 pm and ended about 4:30. I think the fact that there was a second show contributed to the punctuality.

It didn't dawn on me at the time, but now that you've raised the question...

I think they should have announced the names of the two audience plants at the curtain call, at least.

Does anyone remember how One Man, Two Guvnors handled its plant? I don't remember hearing an announcement or getting a slip, like Blackbird.
