Thanks PT, are you at Schubert? Last time we talked you were at WG w/SOR. We have our (1st) set of tix for Bette in 2 weeks. We're seeing HD 2 more times after that. Busiest spring season in a while...are you staying at Schubert for the run?
A few ago at Hamilton Chicago, a man fainted and his family propped him up in the back and he fell down a few more times before his family finally gave up and took him out. Ushers were running around like crazy trying to deal with it.
40 years ago I was working at a theater hosting Angela Lansbury in the 1970s revival of MAME. Even before MURDER, SHE WROTE, Angela was a huge star in Miami Beach and we sold every ticket in our 3,000-seat barn.
One matinee, we had a heart attack in the balcony, which wasn't all that unusual in Miami Beach; what distinguished the event was that an argument broke out between the paramedics and the WIFE of the man having the attack. The paramedics wanted her to go with them in the ambulance and she was adamant that she wasn't missing the rest of the show.
Eh, I believe it. I threw up once at a production of Much Ado at stratford and was pissed I had to miss 30min of the show for it. (Long story, was not contagious, went back to my seat)

I do tend to sub around on Wed and Thurs eves when SOR is dark (it's not fun being gay, single, living alone and spending the night by yourself).
The Shubert is actually a house that I do work at sporadically, though.
With all your abbreviations they may not understand that you work for School of Rock at the Winter Garden. :p

Now they will know where to find me! ??
Yes, but you need to post pictures of yourself too...so we know who to hit on?! But that should be done in your own introduction thread...I know you probably like me because I liked SOR! Haha.

I have witnessed audience members puking at different theatres but it was never a referendum on the quality of the show; but having to do with excessive drinking before curtain. I think heart attacks have happened at some point at about every house in the city.
I guess I should take the jabs for all the abbrev that I started when I posted about WG, SOR, HD...it wasn't PT's fault. So my bad...
(And really , let's go-go-go; single, hot, gay and at the theater every night...you must stop just taking the tickets and L-o-o-k into "their" eyes...now "SOR" isn't "War Paint" but haven't you heard, "We're everywhere"! )
I'll PM you next time, we're in city so much this month and next I'll let you know when we're headed...I didn't even realize that SOR was dark on Wed & Thu...do you like that schedule? (xox SC)
We're seeing The Price also next week; are you ever at S54 or AA Roundabout shows?
