Hi! I'm working on a project related to the Richard Rodgers Theater and I can't find information about it's square footage anywhere. Anybody knows what the sq footage of the stage at the Richard Rodgers Theater is?
There is a book called Stage Specs with that kind of information for every theatre on Broadway. It's extremely difficult to find, but if you leave near one of these cities, you can find it at a library:
The only people that would actually deal with specific size of the stage are the designers. I'm sure it's in whatever "packet" they get when producers show an interest in booking a theater, but it isn't info that is useful to the people the audience/public interacts with. Why would the box office know/care....they're job is to sell tickets, not book the show or give out info to students.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
