Marriott's 2012 Season

The Marriott announced its 2012 season today. It's slightly more appealing than this years season, but I'm still not thrilled about it. The shows are:

Legally Blonde
The Pirates of Penzance
Hero (world premier)
Dreamgirls
My One and Only

It's a little disappointing after seeing what they considered in their survey a few months ago (Titanic, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Parade...) but I'm happy that they chose Dreamgirls. I saw a reading of Hero at the Marriott about a year ago, so I think it would be interesting to see how it has changed. It was really dark, though, and it's quite the departure from the typical upbeat fluff the Marriott usually does.
