I liked BORAT. Didn't care of BRUNO. I am a fan of Cohen's. I think this looks awful.
It is am improved trailer, however. I saw an early test trailer and it showed more scenes. I don't think this one is gonna be a winner.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

I liked Borat, though it made me SO nervous (and perhaps because it made me so nervous). I hated Bruno most thoroughly for many reasons. As for this trailer...I'm not sure. It looks like part Borat in guts, part Bruno in lack of ingenuity, and part Love Guru in run-of-the-mill tackiness. Some of the comedy featured simply reminded me of stuff we've already seen in the Naked Gun franchise. And a Kardashian joke? Meh.

I think this looks very funny. And I'm very glad that he seems to have dropped the mocking real people falling for his act routine. It was more than wearing very thin. It was sensational the first few seasons he was on tv, as long as it remained fairly good-natured and involved public figures.
It was still funny in the movies of Borat and Bruno. Sometimes brilliantly funny. But it was also arrogantly self-righteous, condescending and mean, especially when instead of exploiting the famous he chose to target the poor and the uneducated.

I have a feeling the film is going to be one of those films that can't be captured in a trailer. The first trailer was very much Borat/Bruno, this one is somewhat more formulaic... I think in actuality, it's going to be much different than both.
