Hi there! I'm very new to the message boards and I can easily figure out how to reply to people and how to post a new thread, but, for the life of me, I cannot figure out how to post a message within a current board (not a reply). Can someone help me?
I know it sounds so silly and I feel like it should be simple but I'm completely failing on this.
Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
The way this board is set up you just need to hit "reply to message" at the bottom of any post and your post will get added as the last one in the thread. It's not a stacked/nested message format, so your post, no matter who you replied to, will automatically be placed at the end of the thread.
Oh! I thought when you replied to one person it wouldn't be the same as replying just generally to the post! I've been going crazy trying to figure out another way to post. Thank you so much!
Also, it doesn't matter WHICH "reply" button you click. So, if you are replying to a specific post, it's better to use the quote button (but type your reply AFTER the closing quotation mark) or to mention the poster by name.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
