Any idea what's going in the Palace and Foxwoods Theatres after Annie and Spider-Man leave?

Also what about the Marquis Theatre? I was just up in NYC and it looks like they were doing construction on the facade of the building.

The Marquis will be under renovations and won't have a show for awhile.

The Foxwoods has to do some major renovations after Spiderman closes, which is quite common after a long running show closes, to update the facilities. Also becuase of the mammoth technical aspects of Spiderman, the theater was greatly revovated to accomodate those aspects of the show, and now those renovations have to be undone. The Foxwoods will likely be out of commission till Spring 2015, with a possble concert run in Fall 2014.

The Palace is still publicly unclaimed.

Also the Cort is not accounted for after No Mans Land/Waiting for Godot, which is supposed to end March 2 (if not extended further).

The Cort and the Palace are both "accounted for", just not announced yet.

I'm willing to bet the Cort is going to be the home for "The Realistic Joneses".

Yes, Fun Home will take the Foxwoods this Spring immediately following the closure of Spider-man so that now Little Allison can actually soar above the entire audience.

What musical is big enough to take the Palace that wasn't already announced? Hm.

Given the theory that it takes 20 years to move from a mainstream pop sound to a realistic Broadway approximation of the same, 2014 DOES seem like the earliest possible date for a major gangsta rap musical.

seriously? The Tu Pac musical is actually going to try and make it in the Palace? How long do we think that will last? I could see maybe a much smaller house, but seriously the Palace is prime space.

Who thinks a TuPac musical is feasible or the best idea? Particularly for the Palace....

I'm amazed that people think that a musical about Tupac is realistic. That makes about as much sense as a show about vampires. (silence)

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
