Hello. Has anyone heard her "New Ways To Dream" recording? She does have an amazing voice. As a matter of fact, Debra Byrne's voice reminds me of the voice Glenn Close would have.... if she (G.C.) could actually sing. Just mah humble opinion. from Roman in Austin, Texas... the official Patti LuPone FANatic
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
I saw her do 'Norma' twice here in Melbourne with Hugh Jackman. She was great in the show however her tenure with the show was troubled. She was also the original Australian Grizabella in CATS and can be heard on that recording.
