Hello. I received my copy of "TLWTT" earlier this week. It is amazing. Her songs speak of lost loves (been there), shattered hearts (ditto) and the man who got away (been there too). The songs are lovely and interpreted so magnificently, as only Miss Patti can. For me, the most poignant song is: "My Buddy". It is dedicated to the memory of Dick Gallagher, Patti LuPone's musical director of many years. I met him once with Miss Patti,in November 2003, after a concert. He took a picture of me with Miss Patti (enclosed). For those of you who have bought the recording, what do you think? Sincerely, Roman in Austin, Texas... the official Patti LuPone FANatic

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
