Hello, although I DO admire Miss Patti, I've also wondered from time to time that TPTB (the powers that be) on Broadway have seemingly forgotten about Miss Buckley. She still has a lot to offer. At times, I think she might not have the best of agents if she isn't more active on the theatre scene. In the British Boulevard Forum, I've seen posts here and there that (allegedly) Miss Buckley is quite a handful, personality wise. I wouldn't know about that. But it would be sweet for Miss Buckley more of a steady presence on the stage. Just mah humble opinion. roman in austin, texas

"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

for a few chuckles, search these boards for some very juicy gossip about La Betty. Off-stage, she has quite a reputation.

She is extremely talented thou.........LOVED her in Carrie, and she remains my favorite Norma Desmond. I just don't see any recent, current, or upcoming productions that her talents would be ideally suited for.
