The film is based on the untold true story of the friendship between the music icons. Imelda Staunton joined the world of Downton Abbey for the upcoming feature film, out in theaters this Friday. In the film, Staunton plays Maud Bagshaw, a lady in waiting to Queen Mary.

On Saturday July 27, Kid Danger (Jace Norman) and Captain Man (Cooper Barnes) faced their biggest challenge ever in Nickelodeon's hour-long episode, Henry Danger The Musical. The special, which features 26 original Broadway-style songs, marks the return of the villainous Frankini (Frankie Grande) who puts a musical curse over the town of Swellview, while Kid Danger and Captain Man are forced to find a way to stop him.

Tonight, Moulin Rouge officially opens on Broadway at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre, but that wouldn't be possible without the 2001 Baz Luhrmann film that took audiences by storm. Moulin Rouge was a jukebox musical romantic drama film that was the third and final installment of Red Curtain Trilogy, Luhrmann's film concept that included Strictly Ballroom and Romeo + Juliet. 

Kevin Cahoon will co-star on the new season of Glow when it drops August 9th. Cahoon starred on Broadway asEd the Hyena in The Lion King and went on to be the stand by for John Cameron Mitchell in the original production of Hedwig. He also played George in The Wedding Singer, The Childcatcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and was in the revival of The Rocky Horror Show.

Megan Hilty is voicing K.C., a fun-loving and free-spirited koala, in the new Disney Junior animated series, 'T.O.T.S.' which chronicles the hilarious adventures of best friends Pip and Freddy, a tenacious penguin and a kind-hearted flamingo, who are the only non-stork delivery birds in-training at Tiny Ones Transport Service (T.O.T.S.).

Tony Nominated actor, Rory O'Malley (The Book of Mormon), fresh off of his run as King George in both the Broadway and West Coast productions of Hamilton, is starring as Brian Dooley in Lifetime's new series American Princess.  The show is executive produced by Jenji Kohan (Orange is the New Black, Weeds, and GLOW) and follows a runaway bride as she joins a Renaissance Fair after her wedding goes awry. In the series, Rory plays the Faire's beloved Shakespeare.

Currently, he joined the cast of The Tick for its second season. He plays Agent Ty Rathbone on the series, which centers around a world where superheroes have been real for decades. An accountant with mental health issues and zero powers comes to suspect his city is owned by a global super villain long-thought dead. As he struggles to uncover the conspiracy, he falls in league with a strange blue superhero. They launch into an adventure brimming with crazed archvillains, blood-soaked vigilantes, and superhuman freakery.

Broadway star Kelli Barrett currently stars on FX's Fosse/Verdon as Liza Minnelli. The series follows Bob Fosse, who a visionary filmmaker and one of theater's most influential choreographers and directors, and his wife Gwen Verdon, who is the greatest Broadway dancer of all time. Fosse/Verdon tells the story of these two brilliant, complicated individuals - the love they shared, the art they created, and the price they paid in the pursuit of greatness.

Nicholas Hoult stars as the titular character in “Tolkien,” which explores the formative years of the renowned author's life as he finds friendship, courage and inspiration among a fellow group of writers and artists at school. Bertie Carvel stars in the Manhattan Theatre Club's American premiere of Ink, written by Olivier Award winner James Graham. Carvel reprises his Olivier Award-winning performance as Rupert Murdoch and stars opposite Jonny Lee Miller who plays Larry Lamb, the editor of The Sun.

Yesterday, additional casting was announced for the highly anticipated film adaptation of West Side Story from director Steven Spielberg. Paloma Grace-Lee was cast as Graziella, the girlfriend of the Jets' member Riff, who will be played by Dear Evan Hansen's Mike Faist.
