25 pianos will be played by more than 30 people tomorrow to launch Play Me I'm Yours on Arts Centre Melbourne's Lawn at a rehearsal at 4.30pm OR the official launch from 6pm - 6.30pm TODAY Thursday 9 January, 2014. Media are invited to photograph and film the rehearsal performance at 4.30pm or alternatively film the official launch from with the public attending from 6pm - 6.30pm.

Arts Centre Melbourne presents Play Me, I'm Yours as part of the internationally touring artwork devised by British artist Luke Jerram for three weeks from 9 January 2014 - 27 January 2014.

These 25 'street pianos' will be dispersed around Arts Centre Melbourne, Melbourne's CBD and surrounds, to encourage people to play and discover their inner creativity and spontaneity.

Play Me, I'm Yours has been touring internationally since 2008. Nearly 1000 pianos have now been installed in 37 cities, from New York to London, Geneva to Sao Paulo bearing the simple invitation 'Play Me, I'm Yours.' The project has reached more than three million people worldwide, with each new city becoming part of a growing legacy.
