Different Stages opens its 2023-2024 season with Miss Lulu Bett (An American Comedy of Manners) by Zona Gale. Lulu lives with her sister's family and does all the cooking in the house. Spinsterhood seems to be Lulu's destiny, until an enthusiastic visitor proposes! Miss Lulu Bett is the first play written by a woman to win the Pulitzer Prize for Drama (1921).
