Australia’s Circa creates contemporary circus that moves the heart, mind, and soul. Texas Performing Arts welcomes them back to perform their latest work, Beyond.

Beyond is breathtaking, surreal and unexpectedly moving. Blending dynamic circus acts like trapeze and Chinese pole with cheeky feats of strength, Rubik’s Cubes and blindfolds, the performance is a comical take on the possibilities of the human body pushed to the extreme.

Set to a bewitching mix of show tunes, ballads, and electronica, a curiously tender world emerges from multiple stages within stages—small red-curtained worlds that take the audience to a cabaret, a zoo… or an asylum.
