mun2, the leading Hispanic entertainment cable network for Hispanic millennials, will remember its star Jenni Rivera within special tribute programming blocks beginning Thanksgiving night and running through the end of the year. The cable network home to the Latin music superstar, mun2 produced over 70 hours of original content with Rivera through the star's namesake reality series "I Love Jenni." The series caught some of the star's most humorous, loving and proud moments with her family, friends and fans over its three seasons.

mun2's specialty programming starts on Thursday, November 28 at 6 p.m. EST when it re-airs the wedding of Jenni's daughter Jacqui, showing one of Rivera's proudest moments from season two. At 7 p.m. EST the "We Love Jenni" special, featuring celebrities and friends retelling their favorite Jenni moments and tributes to her, airs at 7 p.m. EST, and two back-to-back Thanksgiving episodes of "I Love Jenni" air at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. EST. Press materials, including interviews with the family and episode segments, can be found at www.epklink.com/Ilovejenni.

"Jenni Rivera is in our hearts and this networks' soul," said Diana Mogollon, Executive Vice President & General Manager, mun2. "We have painstakingly strived to showcase her life just as she lived it: fiercely, with love, laughter, outrageous activities, and conversations that made you laugh, surprised you and always made you grateful to be a small part of her life. She is an Icon, a Latina, Mother, Daughter, Sister and friend who never forgot her beginnings or her heritage."

The network will dedicate Monday, December 9 to an all-day tribute airing all episodes of the final season of "I Love Jenni" beginning at 6 a.m. The final season of the reality series was shot prior to and after the tragic accident that took Rivera's life. Season three, the final season, includes six episodes with Rivera as well as her family as they moved through their lives. The network will also host a live on-air twitter event from 2 p.m. EST to 10 p.m. EST that day with fans able to tweet live on-air using @mun2 and #ILoveJenni.

mun2 will also premiere three new specials in December that features unseen behind the scenes footage of Rivera as well as new interview footage with her family.

"I Love Jenni" is the record-setting Hispanic reality series that starred Jenni and her family. Showing Jenni's often-times chaotically humorous life balancing family, fun, the music business and her ever growing empire, the series is the leading, bilingual Hispanic celebrity reality series on cable. Season three, the final season, had the highest season average for any original program on mun2, reaching a total of 5.5 million people across all of its telecasts during its 18-week period on-air. It was the #1 show among Hispanic cable networks among all demographics during its Sunday night premiere. In 2013 the series has had over eight million video streams on mun2.tv, and over one million VOD (video on demand) views.
