Producers Robert Ahrens, Tara Smith, Brian Swibel, Cari Smulyan and Dale Smith are happy to announce that as XANADU approaches its 350th performance on Broadway, all the stars of the show have signed on to stay through January 25th, 2009. Kerry Butler (Kira), Cheyenne Jackson (Sonny), Tony Roberts (Danny), Jackie Hoffman (Caliope) and Mary Testa (Melpomene)   will continue in their roles in Broadway's biggest surprise musical hit playing at the Helen Hayes Theatre.

Lead producer Ahrens says "We are so thrilled that our cast has all extended their contracts. We have an incredibly talented group of actors that make magic 8 times a week. They have taken Douglas Carter Beane's sophisticated book and have made audiences of all ages laugh for 90 minutes. We see them leave the theatre with smiles on their faces. What more could we ask for?"

XANADU has just received honors with 6 Drama Desk Nominations including Best Musical as well as Best Book (Douglas Carter Beane), Best Director (Christopher Ashley), Best Actor (Cheyenne Jackson), Best Featured Actress (Mary Testa) and Best Choreography (Dan Knechtges). In addition, the show received additional Best Musical nominations from the Outer Critics Circle and the Drama League. Kerry Butler and Cheyenne Jackson have been nominated for Outstanding Performance Awards from the Drama League as well.

XANADU is playing at the Helen Hayes Theatre, 240 West 44th St.  For information and tickets call Telecharge.com at 212 239-6200.
