On Wednesday, March 29th from 6 to 7 PM, Michael Winther will perform some Songs from an Unmade Bed as well as sign CDs. The event will take place at Tower Records at Lincoln Center (1961 Broadway at 66th Street).

The cast recording of Songs From An Unmade Bed was released on March 21st by Ghostlight/Sh-K-Boom Records. "In Songs From An Unmade Bed, one lyricist (Mark Campbell) and 18 composers unite to create an innovative musical song cycle centering on a tale of modern-day urban romance and heartache. With Michael Winther as a smart, resilient, wry, and ultimately optimistic gay New Yorker, Songs From An Unmade Bed journeys through the pitfalls and triumphs of love in the big city," state press notes. The production originally opened to strong reviews at New York Theatre Workshop in May; the show played through June.

Debra Barsha (Radiant Baby), Mark Bennett (Golda's Balcony), Peter Foley (The Hidden Sky), Jenny Giering (The Mistress Cycle), Peter Golub (Amphigorey), Jake Heggie (Dead Man Walking opera), Stephen Hoffman (Splendora), Lance Horne (The Tell-Tale Heart), Gihieh Lee (Tock Tick), Steve Marzullo (Joyce Jackson's Guide to Dating), Brendan Milburn (Striking 12), Chris Miller (The Prodigal Son), Greg Pliska (In a Lake of Fire), Duncan Sheik (Spring Awakening), Jeffrey Stock (Triumph of Love) and Joseph Thalken (Harold & Maude: The Musical) were Campbell's collaborators.

Winther has appeared on Broadway in Mamma Mia!, 1776, The Crucible, Artist Descending a Staircase and Damn Yankees, and off-Broadway in Hapgood, Berlin to Broadway, Forever Plaid, Predator's Ball and Tony 'n' Tina's Wedding.
