O'Malley was nominated for a Tony Award in 2011 for originating the role of 'Elder McKinley' in Broadway's THE BOOK OF MORMON. He has also appeared in THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE and concert productions of SHE LOVES ME and Dustin Lance Black's 8, as well as NEWSICAL and LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE off-Broadway. He recently starred in THE COMEDY OF ERRORS at The Old Globe in San Diego and also appeared as 'Richie Cunningham' in the 2006 premiere of HAPPY DAYS in Los Angeles -- the production later moved to Goodspeed Musicals in Connecticut. Among his on-screen credits are the film adaptation of DREAMGIRLS and the TV series NURSE JACKIE, PARTNERS and THE GOOD WIFE. O'Malley is a co-founder of the gay rights activism group Broadway Impact.
