TODAY'S TOP ITEMS:

WHAT YOU MISSED YESTERDAY:

Broadway Weather Forecast: Warmer and happier today with a high of 75 degrees and mostly sunny!

Quote of the Day: Author and actor extraordinaire Neil Patrick Harris on taking chances and expanding your horizons...

It's good to have a lot of once-in-a-lifetimes in your lifetime. If you get the chance to skydive, go skydiving. If you're offered a part in a weird Shakespeare play in San Diego, slap on some tights and rock out some iambic pentameter.
-- Neil Patrick Harris (via BrainyQuote)

What we're listening to: Merry Halloween? Idina Menzel's HOLIDAY WISHES album is out today, and it's already getting us in the spirit!

What we're reading: Are you headed for misery, true love or rehab? Find out in Neil Patrick Harris's CHOOSE YOUR OWN AUTOBIOGRAPHY, on the shelves today!

What we're watching: A new documentary about Terrence McNally's play CORPUS CHRISTI -- his controversial, all-gay reworking of the story of Jesus Christ -- is out now on DVD and VOD!

And finally, a Happy Birthday shout-out to Mackenzie Mauzy, who turns 26 today!

Mauzy launched her career as a soap star in The Bold and the Beautiful and Guiding Light before making her Broadway debut in A Tale of Two Cities in 2008. Mauzy also stepped in for Jennifer Damiano as 'Natalie Goodman' in Broadway's Next to Normal and had a featured role in Giant at the Public Theater in 2012. She will appear as 'Rapunzel' in the upcoming film adaptation of Into the Woods.
