On yesterday's The View on ABC, the ladies spoke to Neil Patrick Harris about "How I Met Your Mother", hosting gigs, "Hedwig and the Angry Inch," magic show "Nothing to Hide," and immersive theatre experience "Sleep No More."

"It's a super dark, kind of rock solo show," said the actor of his upcoming Broadway return in 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch', "It tells a great story and I'll be playing a woman in it but in a really intriguing and sort of dramatic way." Check out the appearance below!

About The View

"The View," recipient of the 2003 Daytime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Talk Show," is ABC Daytime's morning chatfest, featuring a team of dynamic women of different ages, experiences and backgrounds discussing the most exciting events of the day. The program has received critical acclaim since premiering August 11, 1997. It's broadcast live weekdays from New York City (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET; CLOSED-CAPTIONED; broadcast in stereo; TV-14).

The 2013-2014 season will mark Barbara Walters farewell season on the daytime show she created as she celebrates her final year on broadcast television. Ms. Walters' unparalleled career began in 1961 as a writer and on-the-air reporter for the "Today Show."
