Below check out the trailer for the upcoming HBO presentation of LOOKING: THE MOVIE, debuting SATURDAY, JULY 23 (10:00-11:25 p.m. ET/PT). As theater fans know, LOOKING star Jonathan Groff took a brief leave of absence from his role of HAMILTON's King George III in order to film the highly anticipated movie.

LOOKING hails from filmmaker Andrew Haigh ("45 Years") and stars Groff (Tony Award nominee for "Hamilton," HBO's "The Normal Heart"), Frankie J. Alvarez ("Smash") and Murray Bartlett ("August"), LOOKING: THE MOVIE wraps up the story of three close friends who explore the options available to a new generation of gay men seeking fulfillment in love and life.

Jonathan Groff was nominated for a 2016 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical for his role as King George III in HAMILTON. Groff recently starred in the HBO series LOOKING and will soon appear in David Fincher's upcoming MINDHUNTER series on Netflix. Groff's other TV credits include THE NORMAL HEART, GLEE and BOSS. He also voiced the role of 'Kristoff' in Disney's animated mega-hit FROZEN and its follow-up short FROZEN FEVER.

Aside from his role as 'King George III' in Broadway's HAMILTON, Groff has recently taken the stage in Encores! Off-Center's A NEW BRAIN. He is well known for starring in the original cast of SPRING AWAKENING. Among Groff's other stage credits are IN MY LIFE on Broadway, THE SUBMISSION, THE SINGING FOREST and PRAYER FOR MY ENEMY off-Broadway, and DEATHTRAP in the West End.
