As reported last week by BroadwayWorld, a trio of Broadway and cabaret favorites, Seth Rudetsky, Liz Callaway and Melissa Errico, each announced on social media that they will be involved with a televised performance tonight, July 27th, at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia.

Though the exact details concerning the performance have not been disclosed, a video posted on Facebook by Michael Longoria (HAIRSPRAY, JERSEY BOYS) showing a busload of performers, including Richard Kind, singing Burt Bacharach and Hal David's "What The World Needs Now Is Love" suggests that a performance of the anthem adopted to honor the 49 victims of the shooting at Orlando's Pulse nightclub will be a part of the evening's program.

Rudetsky conceived the idea for the enormously successful Broadway for Orlando all-star recording of "What the World Needs Now is Love," benefiting the LGBT Center of Central Florida, which is now available in ten new remixes, created by DJs Dave Audé, Chris Cox, Mike Cruz and Joe Gauthreaux. More social media pics have identified participants such as Len Cariou, Alice Ripley, Paul Castree, Roz Ryan, Brian Stokes Mitchell and a "Cagney & Lacey" reunion between Tyne Daly and Sharon Gless.
