"Ladies night takes on a whole new meaning!" says USA Today. What's YOUR D*Word? If you've ever been ditched, dumped, divorced or experienced the ups and mostly downs of dating, then you'll understand Jeanie Linders' hilarious new show, The D* Word-A Musical (*Ditched, Dumped, Divorced and Dating) , as it celebrates life's more challenging experiences with relationships.

"The D*Word is a party show," Linders says. "Las Vegas was a wonderful place to introduce the show, and I'm ecstatic to bring its Las Vegas flavor and spice to the Providence community. The action spans the experiences of women (and men) of all ages who've experienced the joys and jerks of dating!"

A 90-minute show, The D* Word follows four single and single-again women who sing their way through the ups and downs of relationships with the aid of girlfriends, martinis and 'mojo makeovers.' With songs from "I Will Survive" and "Just a Gigolo" to "Hot Stuff" and Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger" the show is a celebration of living life happily EVEN after!

"The D*Word has been described as Sex and the City meets Mamma Mia, and has the appeal of being able to laugh out loud with your friends no matter your current D*Word," Linders guarantees.

The show has already received widespread acclaim. Central Florida Top Five noted, "Creator Jeanie Linders who brought unexpected laughter inMenopause the Musical is at it again with The D*Word. Gal pals will revel in the ability to 'see' themselves in just that situation being acted out and will find themselves singing along to familiar tunes in the process. Think group therapy, set to a jukebox score. With wine."

Matthew J. Palm, an Orlando Sentinel theater critic, wrote, "It's an energetic combination of daytime-TV female talkfest The View and scenes reminiscent of a Lifetime movie - with all the sophistication of Broadway's ABBA musical, Mamma Mia!"

Special discounts are available for groups of 10 or more and are available by calling the Trinity Rep Box Office at (401)351-4242.
