The xx performs on the Great Stage at Radio City Music Hall tonight, September 23rd, 2013 at 8:00PM.

Three years after their 2009 debut on the British pop scene with the critically acclaimed album, xx, and after winning the UK's prestigious Mercury Music Prize, The xx are back with Coexist. Following a year of touring xx, the band's members, Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith, decided to spend a year apart to focus on restoring a sense of normality.

After a few months apart, the trio reunited in a studio far removed from both their label in west London and east London's music scene. The group aspired to create a more collaborative album, and for the first time, Croft, Sim and Smith wrote together. "We just ended up playing new stuff to each other to try and write which was a fun way to do it," explains Smith. Understanding the balance between their solo careers and their chemistry as The xx was the heart and soul of Coexist.

Special guest, Poliça, released their debut album, Give You the Ghost, on Valentine's Day 2012, which was met with critical and commercial success.
