The UNAUTHORIZED! Team Opens Voting for KILL PHIL or THE HUNGRY GAMES

After their sold-out premieres of THAT 80'S TIME TRAVEL MOVIE, STEEL PETUNIAS, and GHOSTBLASTERS, The UNAUTHORIZED! team is now turning to a public online vote for their next mind-blowing parody musical.

Which will it be? KILL PHIL, or THE HUNGRY GAMES? The writers are keeping a tight lip as to which they are rooting for. "Both have their merits and potential for awesome storytelling, as well as fun special effects to figure out, whichever way the public votes, I'll be happy," says Christopher W. Barnes, book writer and director of the series.

"Yeah," adds Ryan Mercy, the music writer, "either one of these films are going to make kick-ass parodies and I can't wait to start writing one of them."

So which will it be? That's up to UNAUTHORIZED!'S fans and the public at large to decide. The PIT (which along with Ronny Pascale produces the series) is hosting the vote on it's website at: http://thepit-nyc.com/unauthorized/

UNAUTHORIZED! is a series of brand-new fully realized musical parodies at The PIT. Each new movie to be parodied in UNAUTHORIZED! is voted, written, cast, staged, choreographed and rehearsed in about a month. The UNAUTHORIZED! team produces out-of-this-world-unbelievable and fully-realized two act musical parodies of beloved movies a very short time. If the show is very well received, like STEEL PETUNIAS and THAT 80'S TIME TRAVEL MOVIE, it is further developed and put up for more performances on the main stage at The PIT.
