Martin County's premier art festival returns to historic downtown Stuart February 22 - 23, 2014. The show will once again feature the finest artists in the country, welcoming back many favorites and introducing new artists to the area. A portion of the proceeds from the art festival benefits the Stuart Main Street programs. Admission is free and open to the public.

The festival will go through downtown Stuart starting at Osceola and St. Lucie, down to Haney Circle and continues on Osceola to Denver Street and down to Detroit Street. Art enthusiasts will have the opportunity to engage the artists to gain a better understanding of their work and inspiration as they stroll through the vast array of quality original art.

A free art giveaway will offer festival patrons a chance to win an original handcrafted platter by exhibiting artist Susan Painter. Her sought after "Beachware" pottery is as practical as it is whimsical. Each unique piece is hand painted in bright Key West colors or in lively Palm Beach earth tones. All are handmade by the artist on the potter's wheel, many with handcrafted attachments, such as palm trees, fish, and shells. The prize will be on display at her booth where registration will also take place. The winner will be announced on Sunday, February 23, at 4:00pm, no purchase will be necessary to participate.

Beer and wine along with other beverages, traditional festival food and snacks will be available for purchase. Sales from the three beer and wine carts, placed in strategic locations throughout the venue, will benefit the Stuart Main Street and the Downtown Business Association of Stuart.
