Telepictures' Hilary Estey McLoughlin Joins CBS as President of Creative Affairs

Hilary Estey McLoughlin has been named President, Creative Affairs, CBS Television Distribution (CTD), it was announced today by Armando Nuñez, President and CEO of the CBS Global Distribution Group, to whom she will report.

Estey McLoughlin joins CBS from Warner Bros., where she has served as President of Telepictures Productions since 2006, overseeing all aspects of the company, including its award-winning and leading-edge programming such as "Ellen" and "TMZ."

In this position, Estey McLoughlin will oversee all first-run syndication programming for CBS Corporation's domestic distribution division. She will be in charge of current programs and developing new series across all traditional and new genres of programming for the syndication marketplace.

Estey McLoughlin will look to build on a CTD programming roster that already features 6 of the top 7 first-run shows in syndication, with successful franchises such as "Judge Judy," "Entertainment Tonight," "Dr. Phil," "Wheel of Fortune," "Jeopardy!" and "Rachael Ray," among others.

Throughout her 27-year tenure at Telepictures, Estey McLoughlin helped attract some of syndication's most iconic talent and top producers to the studio, shepherding such successful and enduring programming franchises as the Emmy Award-winning "Ellen," "Extra," "Judge Mathis," "The People's Court" and "TMZ," the first cross-platform media success. She was instrumental in the development and launch of the "The Rosie O'Donnell Show," on which she served two Emmy Award-winning seasons as Executive Producer, as well as "The Tyra Banks Show" and "Jenny Jones." Most recently, she oversaw the successful FOX summer talk show tests, "Bethenny," which launched in syndication this fall, and "The Real."

Estey McLoughlin started her career as a research analyst at Seltel before joining the Lorimar-Telepictures research department.
