Tectonic Theater Project will be hosting a benefit performance and post-performance reception honoring the Broadway Premiere of Moisés Kaufman's new play, 33 Variations starring Jane Fonda, Samantha Mathis, and Colin Hanks on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Eugene O'Neill Theater, 230 W 49th St., New York City. The Post-Play Reception following the evening performance will be hosted by Morgans Hotel Group at Royalton, 44 West 44th Street, and catered by Valrhona Chocolates.
The benefit is hosted by Tectonic Theater Project Event Chair Timothy C. Wu, Co-Chairs Michael Graziano, Kevin Jennings, David Melançon, Amy Stursberg, Ted Trimpa, and Host Committee Members Maria Cristina Anzola and John G. Heimann, Deborah Berke and Steven Harris, Julie Candice, Gabriela Febres-Cordero, Stephen and Judy Gluckstern, Pamela Joyner and Fred Giuffrida ,Ted Mesa, Dan Osheyak, Gigi Pritzker, Lisa Quiroz, Robert Redford, Jordan Roth and Richie Jackson, Peter Teague, Joann B. Walker, Scott Williams, and Doug Wright and David Clement.33 Variations was developed in association with Arena Stage and played pre-Broadway tryouts at Arena Stage and the La Jolla Playhouse. 33 Variations was developed with assistance from The Sundance Institute Theatre Program, The Orchard Project Theatre Residency Program, The Davis Performing Arts Center and Theater and Performance Studies at Georgetown University, and the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts and the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
