Theatre Communications Group (TCG) announces the publication of Mojo and Other Plays, a new collection of plays by the author of the Tony Award-nominated Jerusalem. One of Britain's compelling and original playwrights, Butterworth follows up the publication of that critically acclaimed play with this collection of six early works. The volume includes the Olivier Award-winning Mojo, as well as an interview between the playwright and Nick Hern, founder of Nick Hern Books.

This new volume collects all of the playwright's work before Jerusalem: Mojo, a sly and vicious black comedy set in 1950s Soho London clubland; The Night Heron, a "funny, sad, haunting and strangely beautiful" play about a group of outcasts gathered in the Cambridgeshire fens of England (Daily Telegraph); Parlour Song, a hilarious investigation of cunning, paranoia and treacherous desire and The Winterling, a menacing comedy-thriller about a group of misfits waiting out the winter on a moor in Southern England.

Jez Butterworth is the multi-award-winning author of Jerusalem. He won the 1995 Evening Standard Award for most promising playwright and was awarded the E.M. Forster Award from the American Academy of Arts and Letters in 2007. He also wrote and directed the film adaptation of Mojo (1998) starring Ian Hart and Harold Pinter, and Birthday Girl (2002) starring Nicole Kidman and Ben Chaplin, and he co-wrote and produced Fair Game (2010) starring Sean Penn and Naomi Watts.
