Stevie Van Zandt, Tommy James & More to Unite for Renegade Theater Benefit, 11/2

Seven stars of HBO's hit series, The Sopranos, will join with legends of rock to present a fundraising evening of theater and music in honor of actor and firefighter Jack Ferry, a beloved member of the Renegade company, who died recently at age 45. All proceeds from the event will go to the John Augustus Ferry College Fund, named for his young son. The event takes place at The Cutting Room, 44 E 32nd St, on Monday, November 2nd at 7pm.

A highlight of the evening will be actor/musician Stevie Van Zandt's stage acting debut, when he'll perform opposite Renegade co-Founder/director Vincent Pastore (Big Pussy) for the first time sinceThe Sopranos. Renegade co-Founder/director, Maureen Van Zandt, will perform in and direct several scenes.

The Van Zandts were recently announced as producers of "Piece Of My Heart: The Bert Berns Story," a theater production slated for a Broadway opening in 2016.

Other Sopranos stars performing will include Robert Funaro, Anthony Ribustello, Dan Grimldi and Lou Martini Jr.

The Sopranos crew will be joined by the Renegade company : Ernest Mingione, Kerry McGann, Anthony Grasso, Kevin Hoffman, Joey Dedio, Chesney Snow, Warren Bub, Ted Odell, Nick Wey, Peter Evangelista, Richard O'Brien.

Rockers scheduled to perform include superstar Tommy James, Rascals frontman and Rock Hall member Eddie Brigati, Ryan Star, Bianca Monica, Kevin Hoffman, Nick Wey, Frank Pisani, and Rockit, plus some special surprise guests.
