Stage Vet Anastasia Barzee Nabs Recurring Role on The CW's BEAUTY & THE BEAST

TV, film and Broadway actress Anastasia Barzee begins a major recurring role in the final season of The CW's four-time People's Choice Award-winning series BEAUTY & THE BEAST, beginning July 21, 2016. Barzee plays Special Agent Olivia Dylan of Homeland Security.

BEAUTY & THE BEAST was created by Sherri Cooper-Landesman and Jennifer Levin and is loosely based on Ron Koslow's 1987 CBS series of the same name. This version stars Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan as an NYPD officer and former soldier who are romantically involved as she investigates her mother's murder.

The award winning series will air its last episode on The CW on August 25, 2016.

Anastasia Barzee is a film, television and Broadway actress who has had recurring and starring roles in numerous TV shows including Younger, The Mysteries of Laura, Elementary, The Blacklist, BEAUTY & THE BEAST, and Law & Order: SVU, among others. Featured in the film Fair Game (dir. Doug Liman) opposite Sean Penn, she has also appeared in Confessions of a Teenage Jesus Jerk (dir. Eric Stoltz) and Those Who Wander (dir. Abigail Schwarz). Her Broadway and West End credits include Henry IV, Urinetown, Miss Saigon, Jekyll & Hyde and Napoleon. Her album "The Dimming of the Day" can be found on iTunes and Amazon music.
