St. Armands Art Festival returns with two full days of art, live music, and a free giveaway in honor of its 25th anniversary. This signature, nationally ranked juried outdoor art affair is scheduled for November 9 - 10, 2013. Festival promoter Howard Alan Events has produced this popular show for the past 25 years drawing the finest talent in the country and attracting locals and tourists alike who look forward to the vast array of original artwork on display and for sale. A portion of the proceeds benefits the St. Armands Circle Association. Admission is free and open to the public.

"We are thrilled to reach this milestone," says festival promoter Howard Alan. "We have been bringing the best and brightest artists to St. Armands for the past 25 years, making sure the show offers a wide range of unique handmade artwork; I believe that is the key to our success and the show's longevity."

An Art Giveaway will give festival patrons an opportunity to win original artwork by participating artist Murf. The prize, a 32" x 36" framed, hand embellished Giclée of "When the Moon Was High," valued at $900, will be on display at his booth throughout the weekend where registration will also take place. Murf's multi-dimensional mixed media pieces are popular in the U.S. and abroad. His designs have been added to the collections of famous jazz musicians and other public figures, including David Sanborn, Richard Elliot, Kenny Rankin, Dave Koz and President Clinton. Murf's work can also be seen in prominent galleries and exhibitions across the country. Additional information and images of his work can be found on his website, www.artofmurf.com. The winning ticket will be drawn at 4:00 pm on Sunday. No purchase is necessary to participate in this giveaway.

CircuSoul Yoga Studio will be on site, located at the center of the park, presenting the art of yoga. They will be doing demonstrations on their aerial yoga rig, as well as hosting yoga and meditation sessions throughout the day. Information about the Yoga Studio can be found on their website, www.circusoul.com.

The festival features more than 200 of the nation's leading artists as well as top local and regional talent with their finest work. The artistic media represented include paintings, life size sculpture, photography, glass, wood, jewelry, collage, mixed media and ceramics with prices ranging from $25 hand-designed earrings to $30,000 metal sculptures.
