Husband-and-wife duo Sky-Pony present an evening of indie-rock with theatrical flair Sunday January 29 at Knitting Factory Brooklyn.

Brand new band Sky-Pony combines the "uptown" talents of singer/actress Lauren Worsham (City Center's Where's Charley, Goodspeed's Carnival, City Opera's Candide) with the "downtown" sensibility of her husband Kyle Jarrow (from the bands The Fabulous Entourage and Super Mirage, also an Obie Award-winning playwright for A Very Merry Unauthorized Children's Scientology Pageant).

Inspired in equal parts by indie-rock and good old-fashioned American Songbook balladry, they serve up live shows with theatrical flair and an ever-changing collective of guest performers. They'll be taking the stage at the Knitting Factory Brooklyn (361 Metropolitan Ave, Williamsburg) on Sunday January 29 at 7:30pm.

Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door. Available online through http://bk.knittingfactory.com.

Expect a freewheeling indie-rock extravaganza with a downtown edge and a Broadway pedigree. Special guest performers for this event will include raconteur Clay McLeod Chapman (of Pumpkin Pie Show fame), backup singers Megan Stern (Straight Up Vampire) and Jessi Suzuki, guitarist Kevin Wunderlich, bassist Eric Day, drummer Perry Silver (of The Fabulous Entourage), and cellist David Blasher.
