On April 24, Malcom Gets, Ann Crumb, Darius de Haas, and many more will be fetured in Harbor Lights' production of Stephen Schwartz- Making Music.  The show will be presented at 8 PM at the St. George Theater in Staten Island.

Stephen Schwartz - Making Music, chronicles the career journey of an artist whose early success and later disappointment ultimately ends in triumph. Directed and choreographed by Chet Walker (Co-creator of the Tony Award-winning Broadway show Fosse and Founder of WALKERDANCE) and with a cast of more than 35 of Broadway's and the dance world's brightest stars, this dramatic story features some of Schwartz's most memorable music from shows including Godspell, Pippin, The Baker's Wife, Children of Eden, and Wicked. The production will feature: Malcom Gets (Passion, Amour, Two Gentlemen of Verona, Merrily We Roll Along), Lenora Nemetz (Chicago, Cabaret, Working, and Gypsy), Teri Ralston (Company, A Little Night Music, The Baker's Wife), Ann Crumb (Aspects Of Love, The Goodbye Girl, Nine, Les Miserables, Chess, Anna Karenina), Pia Glenn (You're Welcome, Mr. President , The Frogs, Spamalot), Kristy Cates (Wicked, Jerry Springer The Musical), Darius de Haas (Rent, Carousel, Kiss Of The Spiderwoman, Marie Christine, Running Man), Ann Kittredge (King David, Pajama Game, New Moon), Jay Montgomery (Falsettos, Heart Strings), Desmond Richardson (Artistic Director and founder of Complexions, former Alvin Ailey star, Fosse), Chet Walker's WALKERDANCE,  The Susan Wagner High School Theater Department Choir, and surprise guest stars.

Based in the culturally dynamic neighborhood of Staten Island's North Shore, the not-for-profit Harbor Lights Theater Company is committed to illuminating the human experience by bringing to the community accessible, relevant, and at times thought-provoking professional theatrical productions and educational programs all designed to inspire new ways of thinking and self-expression.
