SUPERIOR DONUTS Host 'Superior Night,' 11/10 2009/11/03

From superior namesakes to superior pastry chefs to superior audiences, Superior Donuts will be filled with "superior companies" for the first ever Superior Donuts' "Superior Night on Broadway" on Tuesday, November 10th at 7 pm at The Music Box Theatre. Superior Donuts has invited "Superior" companies and donut shops/cafes from all over the tri-state area to attend the show and meet the cast following the show.

Employees from companies such as Superior Technology Solutions, Superior Officers Council Health, Superior Leather Restorers and many more will be attending the show that evening.

Superior Donuts by Tracy Letts and directed by Tina Landau stars: Jane Alderman, Kate Buddeke, Cliff Chamberlain, Michael Garvey, John Michael Hill, Robert Maffia, Michael McKean, James Vincent Meredith and Yasen Peyankov.

The design team includes: Scenic Design by James Schuette, costume design by Ana Kuzmanic, Lighting Design by Christopher Akerlind, and sound design by Rob Milburn & Michael Bodeen.

The Steppenwolf production of Superior Donuts is produced on Broadway by Jeffrey Richards, Jean Doumanian, Jerry Frankel, Awaken Entertainment, Debra Black, Chase Mishkin, Karmichelle Productions/Robert G. Bartner, Carole & Barry Kaye/Irv Welzer, Andrew Asnes, Rebecca Gold, Kathleen K. The headliners of Broadway's Superior Donuts, now playing at The Music Box Theater, have been billed as stage and screen vet Michael McKean and the play's scribe, Tracey Letts, of Pulitzer Prize fame for her recent August: Osage County. Yet, The New York Times reveals that immersed in the shows ensemble is another star in Jon Michael Hill, a big name in the Chicago theater scene (where Donuts originated), though relatively unknown to the New York and L.A. worlds.
