The cast of Second Stage's upcoming world premiere production of INVISIBLE THREAD, a new musical by Matt Gould and Griffin Matthews, in association with American Repertory Theater, directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus (Finding Neverland, Pippin), visited Uganda to meet the people who inspired the story. While they were there, they shot a music video for the song "Beautiful" from the show. Check it out below!

INVISIBLE THREAD will begin performances Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Second Stage Theatre's Tony KiserTheatre (305 West 43rd Street).

Determined to find his place in the world, 20-something Griffin leaves his job and his New York City apartment to volunteer for a charity in Africa. But when his altruistic aspirations collide with the real world, his life is changed in unexpected and profound ways. Inspired by a true story, this rousing new musical infuses a world pop score with African beats in an electrifying journey about discovering whether changing the world is even possible.
