Manila, Philippines, June 7, 2013--Broadway star Dan Domenech ("Rock of Ages," "Glee") and pop star Rachelle Ann Go ("Disney's The Little Mermaid") play the roles of Tarzan and Jane, respectively, in Viva Atlantis Theatrical's production of Phil Collins and David Henry Hwang's Broadway musical "Disney's Tarzan" at Meralco Theater on Friday, June 14 to Sunday, June 29.

Based on the novel "Tarzan of the Apes" by Edgar Rice Burroughs, which inspired the 1999 Disney animated film, the Broadway musical tells the story of a newborn boy who gets stranded in the African wilderness, where the infant grows up in the company of apes. He later discovers civilization when he meets Jane, a daughter of an English explorer.

Viva Atlantis Theatrical's take on "Disney's Tarzan," features stage direction by Chari Arespacochaga ("The Full Monty," "Disney's The Little Mermaid"), set design by Lex Marcos ("Disney's The Little Mermaid," "Next to Normal"), and musical direction by Ceejay Javier ("Disney's The Little Mermaid," "Piaf").

Below, Domenech talks about "Disney's Tarzan" and more on ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC).
