As BWW reported earlier today, SHARKNADO screenwriter Thunder Levin told the New York Daily News that his dream would be to bring SHARKNADO: THE MUSICAL to the Broadway stage.

"I think it would be hilarious to do 'Sharknado: The Musical,' I've been proposing that since the first one became a hit on the first night. They could get some Broadway musical guys to write the songs and the music, but you've got to let me write the script. We could call it "Sharknado: The Great White Way," Levin, tells the Daily News' Confidenti@l.

While only a pipe dream at this point, BWW pondered which "celebrity" sharks from the world of entertainment could be cast in the title role? We came up with a few ideas below - let us know who we missed!

Charlie the StarKist Tuna - Okay, we know he's not a shark, but did you know the cartoon mascot (who has served as spokes-fish for the StarKist brand since 1961) was reportedly based on creator Tom Rogers's actor and songwriter friend Henry Nemo?

Who can forget Katy Perry's 2015 SUPER BOWL Halftime Show, featuring Lenny Kravitz, Missy Elliot and a couple of her talented shark friends!

The shark from JAWS! Since his starring role in the Jaws franchise, this Great White was last seen at Universal Studios Orlando park tram ride. We're pretty sure he'd be happy to come out of retirement for the musical gig. Below, watch as the mega fish devours Captain Quint in the 1975 film!

Will Smith starred as 'Oscar', the fast-talking little fish in the animated comedy SHARK TALES. The film boasted an A-list roster of celebrity voiced sharks, including Frankie (Michael Imperioli), notorious mafia shark Don Lino (Robert De Niro), and the vegetarian do-gooder, Lenny (Jack Black). We think any of the above would be up for the role!

In the 2003 computer-animated comedy-drama adventure FINDING NEMO, overprotective clownfish Marlin searches for his abducted son Nemo all the way to Sydney Harbour. Along the adventure, Nemo meets up with a menacing shark. Lucky for him he had his pal Dory along for the ride!
